I am a computer science professor and an entrepreneur who is passionate about innovation and transforming the world through technology.

My research focuses on designing systems (architecture, compiler, runtime systems, distributed systems) for AI applications and Conversational AI systems. I have published more than 40 research papers at top venues for computer architecture, systems and AI such as ISCA, ASPLOS, MICRO and ACL. I have received awards including the Google research award, Facebook research award, JPMC faculty research award, ISCA/MICRO/ASPLOS Hall of Fame, and NSF Career award. I have graduated 10 Ph.D. students and mentored 6 post-doc fellows.

As an entrepreneur, I am currently a co-founder of myca.ai, a company that uses cutting-edge AI to supercharge personal productivity and growth (lifelogify, inc). I am also a strategic advisor for Jaseci Labs, LLC, a company that maintains Jaseci open stack (Github). Jaseci’s mission is to revolutionize how we develop and deploy large-scale AI solutions.

Before that, I co-founded Clinc, a conversational AI company that raised $70 million in VC funds. We received several industry awards including Frost and Sullivan’s Technology Leadership Award in 2019, Gartner Cool Vendor in 2021, and Crain’s 40 under 40. I have led teams to design and deploy multiple large-scale AI solutions including USBank’s mobile AI assistant for 6 million users.
